die casting is an industrial casting process, used in the manufacture of aluminum, zinc, magnesium or brass castings. The molten metal is pressed into the mold under high pressure, hardened in the mold, and then automatically ejected. The die casting mold may contain a plurality of cavities. Due to the high throughput of molds, a series of approximately 300 to 400,000 molded parts can be produced, depending on the mold. Die casting allows the manufacture of parts with very thin walls and smooth surfaces and edges. Due to its high strength, dimensional accuracy and reproducibility, die casting is the best casting process for complex components and demanding applications, both in terms of quality and economy.
In order to achieve excellent quality, we use CNC machining centers to finish machining castings. If necessary, we will add custom components to your die-cast parts in additional production steps and assemble them into modules and components.
Die-cast parts are used in housings, covers, accessories or mounting parts in many industrial fields. Depending on
requirements, we provide die-cast surfaces for decorative use, improved corrosion protection or improved wear resistance.
According to the alloy and finishing process, die castings can provide the following surfaces: sandblasting, glass bead sandblasting, roller finishing, drawing, polishing, phosphating, passivation, powder coating, wet coating, oxidation, copper plating, nickel plating, Screen printing or pad printing.
